We decided to start by taking a walk of the gardens and making our way to the petting zoo while it was still relatively cool. After that we still had time for lunch before it was time for our scheduled Planetarium shows. After the two shows we walked through the main exhibit again on our way to the Dino Den and the Insectorium down below.
The first thing we got to do was pet a baby wallaby near the entrance.
Then, after we purchased our tickets for the Planetarium show, we started our walk around the trails.
There are a few different bridges we got to cross.
No, he wasn't really going to pick the flower, but I thought this was such a sweet picture of him.
Time for the petting zoo.
Have you ever seen a zonkey or a zorse?
Back inside, making our way down to the bottom level. Amelia hadn't been feeling good the first day, so we did take some time to allow her to take a closer look at the exhibits that interested her.
Checking out the Dino Den.
Then it was time for the Insectorium.
The exit from the Insectorium took us back into the Dino Den, so we took another quick walk-through.
I don't think I look properly terrified...
Then back out and we spied these lovely butterflies.
This wasn't really a display, just a cute dino on top of the trash can in the restaurant.
Bye-bye Creation Museum. Until we see you again. Hopefully sometime.
No button currently, and there won't be one until I can figure it out seeing as Photobucket has changed things. Feel free to still share the picture in place of the button on your Wordless Wednesday post or in a list of Wordless Wednesday linkies. Just link it to my Wordless Wednesday permalink please.
Looks like a wonderful place to visit. Thanks for sharing. Also, thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteLove the dinosaur. Nice photos of you and your husband too
ReplyDeleteGreat bridge picture with the greenery background. Looks like a fun getaway. Oh, the swinging bridge looks fun but if high, I can never do them. Nice looking family. Thank you for linking up with Pictorial Tuesday so I could come visit and through your photography have a day out also. :) I linked up. Hope that is okay since wasn't sure if there was a link up theme.

Also, on my Pictorial Tuesday, you asked what the flowers are in the last photograph. They are call Impatiens. I'm answering here since with Blogger, if I reply there you won't see it unless you travel back..they give no notification like WordPress does.
