Wittle People Wednesday December 21, 2012

Welcome to  "Wittle People Wednesday,"  hosted by Ashley of Ramblings and Photos by Ashley Sisk.

I decided this would be fun to link up to as I am always taking pictures. I use some for Wordless Wednesday, some for the Scavenger Hunt Sunday (also hosted by Ashley) and some in my homeschool posts (the weekly review and the Kids and a Mom in the Kitchen posts), but sometimes there are pictures I would love to share that just didn't find a way into a post.

Here are some recent pictures of my "Wittle People."

My Wittlest Person just turned 10 months old!

Playing with brother's phone.

Oops, there it goes.

He loves his finger foods. This was his first day having green beans and he chowed them down. Num, num, bread and green beans. He also loves carrots and those Gerber puffs.

And here are Tabitha's and Amelia's monster sandwiches they made themselves.

Wordless Wednesday: November 28, 2012 (w/linky)- 9 Months Old and New Milestones

I am finding it hard to believe that Harold is already 9 months old. He actually turned 9 months old on the 17th, but we had granddaughter pictures to share last week. Since he has turned 9 months old we have seen some real gross motor advances.

He can now cruise the furniture.

He can pull himself up to stand.

Daddy loves to tempt him with MY cell phone. It works though.

Happy to have his daddy!

As he now can pull himself to stand, he now sleeps in the crib. He was still sleeping in the portable crib bassinet. That doesn't work too well when he tries standing up.

He also now sits in the booster seat to eat, instead of the Bumbo on the floor. Which means mommy can eat with the family again. It also means Hannah is in a big girl chair.

And yes, he is crawling just fine.

He also started eating some finger foods.

My baby is growing up way too fast.

Looking forward to seeing your Wordless (or not so wordless) Wednesday posts this week.

Wordless Wednesday: July 18, 2012 (w/linky)- 5 Months Old (already??)

Baby Harold rolled from his back to his tummy yesterday!

But would he do it again while I had the camera?

Of course not!

But he moved plenty while I was trying to take his 5 month picture today. Glad he did not roll as he was on the couch!

Here are several that I took when I moved him to the floor.

A Very Special June 17th

Well, we woke up yesterday knowing that it was Father's Day. But it took a few minutes to dawn on me that it was also the day that baby Harold turned 4 months old. In fact, it wasn't until Amelia exclaimed excitedly that she couldn't wait for tomorrow (today) because it was her birthday and she turns 4 months old, that I realized it. No, that was not a typo. She said she was turning 4 months old, so as I corrected her and told her she was going to be 4 years old, I remembered it was actually baby Harold's 4 month "birthday." So we got to celebrate Father's Day and Happy 4 months old baby Harold all in one day.

The girls had made daddy little "About My Daddy" books we found over at 1+1+1=1.

This is Hannah's

I traced her hand to make it look like she was holding daddy's hand. No she did not draw her daddy by herself. I guided her hand.

Amelia's

As it is not dark enough to read:
His name is Harold
Hi is maybe 15 years old.
He weights maybe 16 pounds.
He likes to eat lasagna.
He likes to drink soda.
His favorite color is blue.
He is so strong, he could lift us.
His favorite toy is a monkey.
When he goes to work he gives shots and pokes.
He and I like to play.
He smiles when we go to Bills.
He loves me because he takes us to the Bills game.
I love him because he carries me up and plays with us.

And here is my 4 month old little guy.

Oh, look, feet.

 Falling...

 ...down.
