Here's a brief look at our New Year's Eve celebrations yesterday as we waited to ring in the new year.

And here are the two pre-teens. Need I say more...

Daddy added some extra "hands" to the clock.

It's 2019!

Let's throw the confetti we made earlier.

And blow the party horns.

And move the clock hands one last time.

Ripping up the old year from our calendar to make space for the new.

Wordless Wednesday: January 3, 2018 (w/linky) : Ringing in the New Year

Our countdown clock. Each hour we take off the number to see how many more hours are left until midnight, and to discover what fun activity we are going to do.

1 o'clock was lunch time, and 2 o'clock was rest time. At 3 we made a banner.

At 4 we made cookies for our snacks with the movie, but I didn't get any pictures. 5 o'clock was dinner time. Then at 6 they made confetti and noise makers.

and finished decorating.

At 7 they played games.

Then at 8 we started our first movie. At 9 we got to get our snacks to eat with the remainder of the movie.

We finished the first movie and started a second.

Almost midnight. I pulled out the party hats and noise makers daddy bought.

Waiting for the ball to drop.

Still had a few minutes left actually, so I had them pose for some pictures by the tree.
