Littles Learnng Link Up: Patriotic Idea Round Up
- A seasonal round-up (at the beginning of the month)
- A guest post featuring crafts, activities, tips, snack ideas or other early childhood topics. (toward the end of the month)
- Posts where I share what I have been up to with my preschoolers and/or early elementary children.

I had every intention to share a patriotic round up featuring ideas from other great bloggers in this week's Littles Learning Link Up. Unfortunately, I am still recuperating from surgery I had last week and can NOT sit at the computer long enough to put together such a post. I would, however, like to share some fun patriotic ideas.
Last year I shared my own Patriotic Idea Round Up featuring crafts, activities, muffin tin meals and desserts that I have made with/for the children in the past. Perhaps you will be able to find some inspiration here:

I don't have a 2 year old boy anymore (pout pout), but I know there are many who search for ideas for keeping toddlers occupied. Frankly, my 3 year old boy still makes things a bit tricky, so it is always nice to find some new ideas.

Patriotic Ideas Roundup
It's that time of year, time to gather fun, patriotic ideas to get ready to celebrate our nation's birthday. Here are some of the fun things I have posted in the past with the links to the original posts (where applicable).

Simple Craft ideas:
American Flags: We glued blue and red construction paper onto white construction paper and made white fingerprint stars.
The children made these paper towel roll fireworks at Story Hour last year. The librarian wasn't sure where she found the idea. But it again is simple to put together.

Montessori fine motor activity
