Wordless Wednesday: September 6, 2017 (w/linky) : First Day of Homeschool 2017

Monday was our first day of school for the 2017-2018 school year. We enjoyed our usual traditions, such as the children going out for breakfast with daddy while I finished prepping and decorating, completing "About Me" pages, taking our back to homeschool pictures, and just having a very relaxed day. Though we did have calendar time and learning our memory verse. I also introduced the children to the different books that came with our curriculum. Plus we worked on our pen pal letters.

Notice they are getting a little squished up at the top of the steps.
Tabitha came up with this solution:

Heading out for breakfast:

Ready for their arrival at "school."

Here they come!

Proving that homeschoolers know how to line up.

The homeschool elf hid their supplies again.

Naughty homeschool elf!

Decorating the balloons.

Class Picture:

The following picture was the "daddy, stop being so OCD" picture.
He was trying to arrange us the same way we were in last year's picture. Though I did try to remind him, he was just looking at one picture and I wasn't even sure that it was the one I shared on the blog.

Calendar area. Not sure what to do with that poster on the bottom left now that we are done with letter of the week type stuff.

Starting out with prayer.

Calendar time:

Checking the weather:

Feeling what 71 degrees feels like outside.

About Me pages:

Individual School Pictures.
1 each: standing nicely by the easel, dancing around then freezing, and silly faces

Love my silly goofs.

Looking forward to seeing your Wordless (or not so wordless) Wednesday posts this week.
No button currently, and there won't be one until I can figure it out seeing as Photobucket has changed things. Feel free to still share the picture in place of the button on your Wordless Wednesday post or in a list of Wordless Wednesday linkies. Just link it to my Wordless Wednesday permalink please.
