It was our town's Community Days last weekend. We couldn't stay the entire time, as we went to visit my mom in the nursing home. This was a surprise for her, made even more special because she didn't know we were coming, or that my sister was coming up from NYC.
So, first I will share some pictures from the community days celebration, then some pictures from our visit.
The girls entered their chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting into the baking contest. This was a recipe they created themselves from scratch. They were thrilled to win!
