Sunday Photo Round Up
June 10: Organize
I spent some time organizing "my" Sunday School room today. We are combining the classes for the summer, so I am getting familiar with a different classroom, and trying to make room at the table for more children than are usually here.
June 11: Something Awesome
My awesome children climbing on the porch
June 12: Play Time
Play time for the youngest children while their sister is inside taking her standardized test. They are playing "Drip, Drip, Splash" the water version of "Duck, Duck, Goose" from what I understand.
June 13: A Sign
A sign on a box that the children were so excited to find several weeks back. Now they love going grocery shopping with us, so they can get free fruit.
June 14: I Never...
Watching my son ride his bike in the park, I thought, oh, that is something I have never done. I can not ride bike and have no interest in doing so. The one time my mom tried to teach me, I fell and got hurt and refused to get back on. It doesn't help that my balance sucks.
June 15: Water
Spending some time at the park, throwing sticks in the water.
June 16: Dinner
Nothing fancy, just my on-plan (Trim Healthy Mama) dinner. One of my favorites. Meatloaf from their cookbook, riced cauliflower cooked up in butter, and green beans with butter and seasoning.
June 10: Fruit
I did not have any fruit today. So, I thought I would share the fruit I have quite a bit, because it can be eaten in either S, E, or FP with Trim Healthy Mama. Frozen berries. I like them thawed and added to cottage cheese and plain Greek yogurt. Also yummy on top of my pancakes.
June 11: Crunchy
These crunchy snacks look like they want to crunch something. Don't they. Can you name this snack?
June 12: Smooth
I wasn't sure what I was going to share, until I saw the children making their water balloons. They are quite smooth.
June 13: Creativity
The children showed great creativity this year coming up with their costumes for the Kid and Pet Parade for Community Days. Seeing as I was late sharing the picture, I am also sharing the picture of them wearing them.
June 14: Flag
Saw this flag at the store last night. Figured I'd go with it for this prompt. Sort of pretty. Don't you think?
June 15: Honor
Wasn't quite sure where to go with this one. Decided to take a picture of the children being respectful while "honoring" the flag. Not sure it's quite right, but it's what I could come up with.
June 16: Life
Here's a little life I don't like to get close to. It's surrounded by plant life. I tried to get a picture from a different angle and he wasn't quite happy with me. He flew up and decided I was done trying to get a picture of a bumblebee.
Third challenge: MegaMotherhood from Jamerrill Stewart.
June 10: Morning Mug
I started having a morning mug of coffee when I have an S breakfast. Might have gotten into a bad habit. The mug was a gift from a past Mother's Day. Isn't it neat. It's one of those mugs where the picture appears with hot liquids.
June 11: Porch
My awesome children climbing on the porch.
June 12: Lunch
Well, I could have shared my boring lunch, but that would have been, well boring. While I was making lunch I saw movement out of the corner of my eye and noticed this little critter capturing its own lunch.
June 13: Husband
The husband playing on his phone.
June 14: Playtime
Bit of playtime before lunch this afternoon. For some reason these two were practicing their flying, with weeds as wings.
June 15: Plot Twist
So, Friday was our last day of school for the 2017-2018 school year. New tradition, taking pictures similar to we took on the first day of school, but with signs that say, "Last Day of School," and "We are finally done." With a bit of a plot twist thrown in: "Summer Session Starts Soon" because we school through the summer, after taking a bit of a break.
June 16: Sunshine
Just some sunshine shining through the leaves of the tree. We decided we didn't want to get sunburned while watching the Community Days parade.
Aaannnnd on to the fourth challenge: Homeschool Instagrammers
(I sort of played catch up as I started late, but didn't get very far. Here are the days I have gotten)
June 7: Favorite Color
Tabitha was crocheting with my favorite color, while wearing a dress which is another one of my favorite colors. I can't decide which purple I prefer these days.
June 8: Flower
Just a pretty flower outside our church.
June 11: Water
Happened to see these geese after stopping at the store before coming home from the Y. They waited patiently for me to take a few pictures, then decided to take off. Loved this shot.
June 12: Technology
Some new technology in the van along with some older technology in the background.
June 13: Animals
Found some geese again today. Wonder if they are the same ones as the other day.
June 14: Artwork
This ballerina picture is Tabitha's latest piece of artwork. She's getting pretty good at drawing people.
June 15: Gratitude
A whole lot of gratitude here in my I Heart Homeschooling picture, I am grateful to be able to set my own schedule. We school 5-6 weeks on, 1 week off during the school year, then have a summer session, schooling year round. Today was our last day for this school year.
June 16: Stripes
Saw quite a few stripes today, the Stars and Stripes to be exact. Today is day 2 of our Community Days celebration and there was a parade.
