Can't believe how fast he has gone from this:
to this:
Why is he sitting at the top of the steps? Well, it is our tradition that the birthday child has to wait to come down til everything is ready.
The birthday banner had to be made and put up.
And breakfast needed to be on the table waiting for him. Don't worry. He was still asleep during most of this prep time.
Then he made his way down the stairs in his routine way.
Breakfast time!
Just so happens, Lego Club fell on his birthday this year.
And the librarian provided cupcakes to help celebrate.
The majority of the day was spent playing games with siblings, mostly video games. Then we had his requested dinner: Grilled cheese, macaroni and cheese, plus tomato soup. Amelia was assistant cook, so she got to help.
Dinner time:
Time for birthday spankings:
And presents
Then it was time for the cake. Our 6 Year Old birthday tradition is that they get a store bought cake.
No button currently, and there won't be one until I can figure it out seeing as Photobucket has changed things. Feel free to still share the picture in place of the button on your Wordless Wednesday post or in a list of Wordless Wednesday linkies. Just link it to my Wordless Wednesday permalink please.
