Muffin Tin Monday: Trees

Muffin Tin Monday at Her Cup Overfloweth

This week's theme for Muffin Tin Monday is:
Trees, Leaves and Harvest

This was the perfect theme for this week.  We are on the letter Tt!

We had hand cut tree shaped peanut butter and apple butter sandwiches.  We used apple butter instead of jelly because apples grow on trees.

Spinach leaf salad with avocado/tomato dressing

Fall colored/leaf shaped Jello Jigglers

Oreo dirt (because trees grow in soil)
The girls crushed their own cookies.

Pretzel stick twigs

Broccoli Trees

Pineapple sun to help the trees grow

And they had water to drink because the trees also need water to help them grow.

The girls actually did very well eating everything in their tins.  And that was after eating the Jello, Oreo crumbs and pineapple (i.e. the sweet stuff) first

  2. I love that each element of your tin had a very good reason for being there. Adorable!

  3. Well thought out tin! I just had to use what I had. Love the sun & dirt - wouldn't have thought of those.
