"I'm thrilled to be chosen to be the featured host this week! My name is Cari and I'm from Reach The Star Berries. I'm a mom of two beautiful daughters and I would do anything in the world for them. I love learning along side them and discovering new things. Before I had children I went to college to become a teacher. I graduated from San Diego State University with my B.A. in Liberal Studies and went on to earn my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I'm passionate about creating through cooking, baking, and any other arts or crafts my children might enjoy. I also love to save money and find the best deal.

I've been blogging for the past year but just started my own personal blog to share about family, food, frugality, and fun this past month. I love trying new things and sharing my knowledge with others. Making connections with other parents through blogging has been a great way to develop friendships and they mean much more than just a pin on Pinterest. (I do love Pinterest though.)

I find myself telling my daughter on a daily basis to, "reach for the star berries." My mom used to say this to me all the time when I was growing up too. I chose this saying as the title of my blog because it not only has a lot of sentimental value but it has a great message. I want to always be striving to do my best and reach for the star berries. I want to inspire my family and friends to do the same and I hope that I can inspire you as well. So welcome, and I hope you'll join me on my journey as I continue to "Reach For The Star Berries."
