Wordless Wednesday: December 19, 2012 (w/linky)- Christmas Light Sightseeing

After our church's Christmas program on Sunday, we drove around looking at Christmas decorations. Here are some of the beautiful lights we saw.

These are the trees in front of the library that different organizations and individuals can decorate, some in memory of loved ones, others just for fun.

Wish I could have shared each one.

Loved these two cute snowman decorations:

The following pictures are all from the same amazing house.

Loved the cool lights lining the driveway.

Looking forward to seeing your Wordless (or not so wordless) Wednesday posts this week.

  2. Wow, your town really gets into this. Nice photos. I think it is because we are light until 9.30, but I haven't seen any lights yet this year. I am a new follower.

  19. Great minds think alike--I also posted Christmas lights this week. When we were kids, our family would always pile into the car on Christmas Eve and drive around looking at lights while listening to Christmas songs on the radio. It's nice to know families still do that!

  26. When my children were little we used to do the same thing and I will never forget the one year we went by this two story house that had a huge plate glass bay window on the second story... there was an entire family of teddy bears - life size -- We looked for that set up every year thereafter and never found it again.
I love the one house with the lights up the driveway.... they are really in the spirit!

  28. Oh my! I'd hate to have their electric bill, but it looks wonderful. I wonder how they keep from blowing a fuse/circuit breaker. hmmmmmm My husband would kill me if I asked for more lights. ~snicker-snicker~ Following you on linky follower (already follow you on GFC).

  30. Thank you for sharing these. Christmas lights make me so happy. My hubby and I have put three strings of battery operated lights on our tandem bicycle and I always way over-load my tree. But seeing those put up my others is always the best. Merry Christmas!
