Tiny Talk Tuesday: May 24, 2011

I love linking up to share the cute/funny things the girls say.  Don't forget to head on over to Not Before 7 to check out more great comments.

Tabitha and Amelia were playing with their baby doll one day.  They kept walking back and forth, saying they were taking the baby to the doctor.  Then I heard Tabitha say to Amelia, "Let's go give her a shot in the poking room."

This evening Tabitha was questioning how we go up to heaven to be with Jesus, probably because of all our talk about heaven with our new curriculum.  When I put her in bed later on she said, "How do we get up to heaven? By flying? I'm not the best flier."

Today Amelia was playing in the Resurrection Sunday review sensory tub (I never did post about this, but I took the items from the Resurrection Eggs and hid them in the sensory tub.  Then I took the pictures I was using in our temporary resurrection eggs and placed them under the eggs in the carton.  I wanted to see if the girls could remember the order the story went in.  They didn't do so well, but they do love playing in it.)  She filled the cup with rice and asked her dad and I, "What did Jesus have in here?"  She answered for us, it was like she was trying to teach us, "Juice."  Then she said, "Cause they had  leftover."  She meant they were observing the Passover.  Daddy actually got a head start on me and posted this on his Facebook he liked it so  much.

  1. Awww... I love the poking room! Kids are so literal and it makes me realise how much easier things might be if we just named it as we saw it sometimes :-)
