We are not starting a new book this week as I have decided I need to finish up all the notebook pages before I get too far ahead of myself. I probably would have had a theme if I had had time to think about it, but the girls had their very first dentist appointments this morning. This meant I got home in time to throw food in the muffin tins while they played outside for a few minutes.
Ham rollups
Strawberries
Leftover tuna noodle casserole
green peppers with
ranch dressing
Muenster cheese
Oh, and milk to drink (obviously not in the picture)
We made sure to discuss our food choices. Did we have all the food groups (or whatever we are supposed to be calling them now)?
Still need our sweets of course:
We made our once a year stop at the Cider Mill today on our way home from the dentist. Fortunately the Cider Mill is almost an hour away, because their donuts are scrumptious. Lets see
Peanut butter fluff filled
Cider
Maple walnut
Barvarian filled
Angel cream filled
Chocolate frosted with sprinkles
Chocolate chocolate
And they make the BEST apple fritters. But hubby and I ate ours on the way home. No wonder I am not that hungry right now.
I hopped over from "A not so moody monday" blog hop and I follow you on GFC! I love your blog and hope you can stop by to check mine out sometime and follow back!

Love the muffin tin meal. I will have to try this with the grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteI love it when I have leftovers that I can put in the muffin tins...it makes it so much easier for me! I'm sure your kids loved their special donut treat!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a yummy muffin tin meal. The picture of the doughnuts is going to get me in trouble! I have quite a sweet tooth (and eye... ;).
ReplyDeleteGreat lunch and those doughnuts look so good. :)
