Muffin Tin Monday: Apples Galore

Muffin Tin Monday at Muffintinmom.com

This is our second week rowing the book How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World by Marjorie Priceman.  We are focusing mainly on apples this week, so what better way to celebrate apples that to have an apple muffin tin.

The girls had:

A peanut butter and apple butter sandwich shaped like an apple cut in half. The "seeds" are raisins, the "stem" is a green bean and the "leaf" is a spinach leaf.

More stems and seeds.

Snacks:
Apple Bobbers (cheap brand of Apple Jacks)
Apple chips (they didn't care for them. I on the other hand love them.)

A cookie decorated to look like an apple. We made some of these last week and I used the last three for today's tin.
Star shaped cheese, because you know if you cut the apple open horizontally you can see the star God put in the apple.

And of course I had to cut two apples up to show them. Hannah had sort of gotten to them first, thus the bites  out of the apples.

And this is what happens when you tell a 17 month old she has to wait for her cookie:

She did calm down and eat:

Oh, they had apple juice to drink.

I wanted to play around with my scrapbooking software from My Memories Suite.  I thought it would be neat to create an album of all our muffin tins.  I just completed a review of the software and am offering a giveaway. If you are interested head on over to the giveaway post to check out all the ways you can earn entries.

  3. Hi! Sorry I haven't kept up with you lately! I've been trying to stay offline since the nice, warm days are slowly coming to an end!

How's it going? We are doing well! I made some changes for this year in terms of school limitations! Only 4 days a week and shorter lesson periods. And we returned to Singapore Math! Second guessing my choices just screws things up! Take care!!
