Fall Theme!

1. Do you like candy corn?

MY ANSWERS

1. Do you like candy corn?

I LOVE the stuff. Luckily we can buy it bulk. Yum yum 

2. Do you decorate for Halloween?

No, we do not celebrate Halloween.

3. What's your favorite fall activity?

I love to go to corn mazes, but we don't get a chance very often. What we do get to do is head on over to the park and collect leaves, last year we tried to catch them in a basket as they fell.

4. If you craft, do you make any fall crafts?

With the girls we have made leaf men before. I think the girls would like to do it again. 

5. For Halloween, do you do pumpkin carving?

Not usually. Sometimes we carve them using the Pumpkin Carving Prayer I learned about when I was working at a daycare center that was in an Alliance Church. 

Dear God,
As I carve my pumpkin help me say this prayer:

Open my mind so I can learn about You;
(Cut the top of the pumpkin)

Take away all my sin and forgive me for the wrong things I do.
(Clean out the inside)

Open my eyes so Your love I will see;
(Cut the eyes out in heart shapes)

I'm so sorry for turning up my nose to all you've given me.
(Cut a nose in the shape of a cross)

Open my ears so your word I will hear.
(Cut the ears shaped like the Bible)-we did rectangles

Open my mouth so I can tell others You're near
(cut the mouth in the shape of a fish)

Let Your light shine in all I say and do! Amen.
(Place a candle inside and light it)
