This week we are continuing to learn about the letter Ll with My Father's World.
Our theme is "Leaf."
I actually created this muffin tin last Monday, I just didn't have a chance to post it. I am debating doing a Columbus Day tin this week. Here is the link to what we did last year for a Columbus Day Muffin Tin.
Now, onto last week's Ll: Leaf Muffin Tin
The girls had water because trees and plants need water to live.
The spinach is the leaves for the tree.
The tree trunk is made from a cheese roll up. I just flattened a piece of whole wheat bread with my hand, cut off the crusts and added a slice of American Cheese. Then I rolled it up.
Apricot halves cut into leaf shapes
Jello Jigglers cut into leaf shapes
Tree Shaped Cake (Little Debbies)
Leaf shaped pickle slice.
And a couple of Spearmint Leaves
This was actually a well received muffin tin meal. The girls did a pretty good job eating everything (with the exception of Hannah. She really has gotten picky lately).
