Gratitude Challenge Days 1 and 2
I just discovered this great linky last night (late last night) and decided I was going to accept this challenge, posting each day in the month of November of what I am grateful for. Too often I am guilty of worrying and focusing on the bad. I need to change my outlook and I figured this challenge would help me focus on what I should be focusing on. As I am a day behind I will start today off with two things I am thankful for.
I am so thankful for the love and forgiveness of the Lord my God. He does not give up on me and loves me with a "crazy love." This is the title of the book we are reading in our care group.
I am also thankful for my loving husband. The Lord brought us together in His timing, which is extremely awesome. WE met through my hubby's mom, whom I'd known for a while. We got to know each other and were married, bringing our families together, though we don't really see our other children from our previous marriages very often as they are getting older. I am very thankful for a husband who supports me, who is not critical of me and who allows me to stay home with the children and homeschool. The Lord brought a wonderful man into my life.
What a wonderful idea! (I'm a new follower from Give a Hoot Wednesday Blog Hop.) I'm going to have to think about doing the gratefulness challenge too, if I can handle it on top of NaNoWriMo, NaBloPoMo, SheWriMo...and something else I can't even remember right now. *lol*
