Poppins Book Nook Introduction and a Kindle Fire Giveaway

I am so excited to be embarking on a brand new adventure this year. I recently discovered a Virtual Book Club that is right up my alley.

The Poppins Book Nook is a fun gathering of crafty bloggers who have come together to share crafts and activities they have done with their children revolving around books of a specified theme. And there will be a link up for others to share what they have done as well. Each month there will be a different theme, here, let me share the schedule with you first of all:

This book club was started by Jill over at Enchanted Homeschooling Mom "as a way to share and inspire a love for reading in children." As a part of this free monthly book club I will be choosing a book that goes along with the monthly theme. On the last Monday of the month I will share my book and the fun activities/crafts that we did, along with all the other co-hosts. I will obviously be sharing activities for children ranging in age from 2-7 as that is the ages of the children. However, there are many bloggers participating and you may find activities posted for children from Pre-K through 12th grade.

If you’re interested in joining this month’s Poppin Nook Book club, here’s what you need to do…

• Comment below and let us know that you are joining in!
• Pick your favorite Where in the World book (or a new one you want to check out) and read it with your child or class.
• Create an activity, project, craft, cooking project, etc. related to the book and do it.
• Come back and share it with us as part of a big Where in the World blog hop on Monday, March 31st! The linky will be live for 3 weeks, so if you aren't ready to post on the 31st… just join in when you can!
