It is rare that we all go to the library these days. Usually hubby or I will go in and pick up books as I put them on hold using the computer. But last week my older daughter had a doctor's appointment in the same town where the library is and she called to see if we wanted to come up to visit her. I didn't tell the children where we were going and I am so glad I didn't. They were so excited to see their big sister. We went in the library, grabbed the books that were on hold and some additional ones for Valentine's Day. On the way home they all wanted a book to read, so I had to snap some pictures.

So nice to see kids reading books instead of iPad's heheh!
ReplyDeleteHave a tanfastic week ahead ;-)
The photos are sweet, and your son's expression is priceless!
ReplyDeleteYes, there is nothing like a real book to hold and read. The ipads and tablets are nice, but they will never completely replace books. :)
ReplyDeleteFun! We love going to the library :)

My boys love going there. It's so good for them to read.
ReplyDeleteOur children always took books with them whenever we got in the car, even if it was to go across town. Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteThe library was my favorite place as a kid. Mom took us at least every two weeks!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics :) You have your hands full! Mine are nearly all grown up now
