Wordless Wednesday: November 20, 2013 (w/linky)- Karate Belt Graduation

My oldest daughter, who doesn't usually allow me to share pictures of her, has given me permission to post the pictures from her Karate Belt Graduation and Demonstration Ceremony. I am not exactly sure how long she has been in this karate class (she lives with her dad), but she broke her first board the night of the graduation!

She even let me keep a piece of the board, though she was a little hesitant as it was the first board she broke.

Looking forward to seeing your Wordless (or not so wordless) Wednesday posts this week.

  6. What a great achievement. Now she is ready to move forward further into Karate. My eldest daughter was in Aikido, which most Karate people would say is a wishy-washy marial art. I think it ended up being good for her in the long run, but I didn't like her sensei trying to nudge her away from her Christianity.

  14. That's pretty neat-o! Breaking boards with my hand would be difficult & painful, but breaking a board with my head...well, that's another matter seeing how I'm hard headed. *hee-hee* Anywho, great news on DD's accomplishment well done! PS: I will be snagging your WW badge to put up on my blog. Thanks for visiting this morning at Curious as a Cathy!
