In The Hands of a Child is an internationally recognized company, started in 2002, that provides "quality lapbooking materials for all educators while serving homeschooling families and classroom teachers looking for an easier way to put laughter and learning together in the hands of their children." They have many lapbooks in multiple subjects including: Biblical, Economics, Geography, History, Holiday/Seasonal, Just for Fun, Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, The Arts and Thematic Early Childhood Units.
I had the opportunity to use the math project pack, Shapes: Simple & Solid with the two older girls, Tabitha and Amelia.
You can read my review here. I have to say, the girls sure did expand their knowledge about shapes.
Do you have a child (or children) who are in grades Kindergarten through 3rd?
(Though I have to say it is possible to use it with younger children as Amelia is not yet 5.)
Do you need a study for a homeschool co-op class?
In the Hands of a Child has generously offered me the chance to host a giveaway for the same Project Pack I reviewed. You will receive the eBook format which allows you to print off copies for all your children who will be using the pack. You would also be allowed to print off enough copies for a homeschool co-op class of 10. The Project Packs are ready-to-assemble hands-on units that include:
Instructions/Tips
Table of Contents
Planning Guide
Related Reading Suggestion List
Activity/Mini Book cutting and folding instructions
Research Guide (to read to the children about the subject)
Reproducibles
You will need to supply folders, glue, staples, paper fasteners and scissors.
If you enjoy lapbooking with your children, or would like a chance to try it out, this giveaway is for you!
All you need to do is enter in the Rafflecopter below.
Giveaway is open worldwide, 18 yrs +

ReplyDeleteI APPRECIATE YOUR COMMENT THAT YOU'RE ABLE TO USE THIS EVEN FOR KIDS YOUNGER THAN 5, AS ALL 3 OF MY CHILDREN ARE UNDER 5 & I HAVE SOME TROUBLE FINDING GOOD CURRICULUM FOR SUCH YOUNG KIDS.
