Well, it has been a few weeks since I posted any Scavenger Hunt posts. I just haven't had the time to think about photography beyond taking pictures of the kids and our lessons. Tonight I sort of had the urge to join up, so I checked out the items and took the camera with us on our nightly walk.
Here is this week's list:
Scavenger Hunt Sunday items: Long Exposure, Shapes, Green, Fruit and Childhood Memory
Shapes
I came across this neat book at the thrift shop. In order to move on to the next page the girls need to use the correct wrench to remove the corresponding shaped bolt.
Green
Of course there is green everywhere right now, but I thought it was a nice comparison between the different greens by getting the "helicopters" in the shot.
Fruit
I had two different idea for fruit. The above picture is what is left of my lemon after a week or so of adding some lemon juice to my morning glass of water.
I wanted to show my children showing love, one of the Fruits of the Spirit. Remembering that I need to have patience with them as they test my self control. At the same time we are working on instilling in them these virtues.
Childhood Memory
I remember Hello Kitty stickers when I was growing up (stickers and sticker albums were what I was into). I figure Hannah is making her own childhood memories of Hello Kitty.
No clue how to take a long exposure shot with my Canon Powershot A520.
I love your 2nd fruit picture. No only is it a great picture and a great interpretation of fruit, but it is also a reminder and inspiration.
