Homeschool Postcard: National Monuments

Last week I linked up over at Educating Layton with:

This week you can link up pictures of your homeschoolers with a national monument, building or statue.  Head on over and check it out.  Oh, and if you link up with your photo you can have a chance to win a Scrambled States of America game.

We have not had a chance to ever take the girls to see any national monuments.  So we decided to go on a virtual tour via Google images.  I have been to Philadelphia in the past (I believe it was in 5th grade) and we got to visit the Liberty Bell.  I even purchased a souvenir of the bell which has since been lost.

The girls have questioned actually going to see the Liberty Bell. One of these days.  For now I printed out some coloring pages for them to color.  I will include those in my weekly school time post on Friday.

I found this picture over at Fun and Facts with Kids, a great new-to-me blog.  I would recommend checking it out.
