This week I decided to ask Tabitha, "Why do we brush our teeth?"
Here is our lengthy discussion.
Tabitha: We just brush them with our toothbrush.
Mom: Okay, but why?
T: Because we want the cavities out of our teeth.
M: Do you want to tell me anything else?
T: How do we brush our teeth too?
M So are you going to tell me?
T: Yeah. I'm going to tell you. We just brush our teeth fast, quick. (demonstrates with her finger back and forth, in and out)
M: Is that all you're going to tell me?
T: Yeah. Hannah wants to tell you. Hannah says we brush our teeth with our hands. (Hannah always has her hands crammed in her mouth lately) Hannah wants to tell you more. We brush our teeth with our whole hand. Rararararararararara. Bubu bububu bubububu (Think our Blue from Blue's Clues talks, she likes "talking" like her right now.)
I would love to read your children's response to the question "Why do we brush our teeth?" Come along and join the fun, write a post and link up below. I am looking forward to reading your posts. In case you are not aware, I am now sharing the girls funny, cute, insightful comments on Tuesday and linking to Tiny Talk Tuesday. Seems Mary at Not Before 7 has been doing this for a while.
What a great idea! I LOVE kid conversations. I'll join you tomorrow. Lately I have had writters block not to mention my need to download pics. So maybe this will get me out of my funk.
