When we were walking around River Rd. discussing the German shepherd dogs that had followed us around town several days ago, Tabitha said, "If they were red they could be Clifford." Then when we were discussing it at home, she said, "If they were blue they could be Blue's Clues."
Daddy and the girls were listening to music on YouTube. After the song was over Amelia picked up the speaker, held it to her ear and said, "I can't hear it."

Tabitha came into our room this morning and of course the TV was on with the menu screen of the movie we had watched the night before (neither myself or Harold can sleep without light or noise of some kind, so we go to sleep watching a movie). She asked me what the picture was on the screen. It was the USS Enterprise and I told her it was a star ship. We had a bit of a discussion about real rockets and space shuttles and make believe star ships and then she said, "We live on a space ship and we live on a planet."
While we were cleaning up before bed I told Tabitha she needed to pick up the stacking bowls and put them away. They are a nesting/stacking toy Amelia got for Christmas. The Fisher Price Stack and Roll Cups can be nested, stacked or made into balls. Most of the time they use them as pretend bowls or balls. So when I asked her to clean up she was holding one of the balls and said, "I'm trying to unpart this one."
I invite you to link up to my Words of Wisdom Wednesday. The linky is still open for last week. The question I asked you (my fellow bloggers) to pose to your children is:
How do you think we drive?
After you take the time to ask your child and record the unique answer would you please post about it and link up to the linky.
And tomorrow I will post this week's question. It has something to do with dental care.
Very cute, glad to visit you for Tiny Talk Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteCute. I love made up words and "unpart" is adorable.

ReplyDeleteI love the one about the speaker, Selena grabs mine and uses them as microphones.
