Five on Friday: January 24, 2014

Yay! I remembered about the Random 5 on Friday this week.

There are funny things or cute things that will happen during the week that I would like to share, but they don't really make a post on their own. So, this is the perfect opportunity to share them.


1. Harold has lots of fun in the nursery at church. He loves to rearrange the furniture. This past Sunday he pulled the table over to the big chairs, put a pillow on it and climbed onto it like it was a bed.

2. The other day Amelia took Harold, who was lying on the couch, and covered him up with two blankets. He thought it was so fun.

3. The girls are really enjoying the Science4Us.com site we are reviewing. They tend to all gather together if I let them, though they each have their own accounts. Stay tuned for the review next month. 

4.  Today we watched Cinderella for our movie and popcorn night. It has been ages since I have seen this movie. Out of all the older princess movies, this was the one that I figured I could safely let the children watch because their are no scary witches or dragons. And we are working our way through the alphabet. The plan is to find a family friendly movie for each letter of the alphabet (okay, Q and Z may be hard) so we are not watching the same movie multiple times during the year. So far we have watched Alvin and the Chipmunks, Babe and Cinderella. Once we get through the alphabet we will start again.

5. Harold has been wanting to get involved with our calendar time more. We have been sitting around the dining table instead of the school table, so when he wants to point to the calendar he will scootch himself up on the table like this:
