This week our memory verse is Proverbs 16:24, "Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones." We are also learning about trees with our science lessons this week. So, we read The Bee Tree by Patricia Polacco and I decided to make a muffin tin based on this book.
The Bee Tree Muffin Tin
Top:
Ranch dressing cloud
Middle:
Flower shaped peanut butter and honey sandwich with a Reese's Pieces middle
Bee made out of half a peach plus a peach circle, raisin eyes, shredded cheese antennae and chocolate syrup stripes.
Broccoli trees that the bee is flying toward.
Bottom:
Yellow corn and black olive stripes
Captain Crunch (it was supposed to be HoneyComb, but we didn't have any)
BEEEEautiful! Love the creativity put into this! Thank you for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteSo cute and creative! My kids love muffin tin meals, so I will have to try to find some good ideas to coordinate with their curriculum. Thanks for the idea :)
