Big Photo Challenge:Green

I just happened to see the button for this meme on Jennifer's blog, Chase-ing the Dream.  With my little Canon Powershot A520 I don't have a lot of options, I am no professional photographer.  But I wanted to share this picture.  I was in my garden this evening and Steven noticed that we had our first zucchini.  (Goes perfectly with our letter of the week and our dinner, which was zucchini casserole).

When I found out the theme this week was green, I had to share.  Our lone zucchini plant has shot out of the gray dirt in various shades of green and the darkest green is our only zucchini plant.
