This week I asked the girls:
What do you think happens to the garbage after we throw it away?
Tabitha said, "Ummm...We ...they throw it out of our trunk when it so stinks."
Of course I wanted some more details, so I asked, "And then what?"
She answered, "It gets away. If it's garbage we need to throw it out, it gets away. We have to throw it out after we're done with it."
Then, as I was getting ready to ask Amelia, Tabitha insisted she needed to say more.
She said, "It's so fun"
Here is what Amelia said.
"Ummm, throw things out."
Yes, I asked for more details.
She said, "We throw diapers out in the garbage....It stinks in the van....We wait in line to throw out the garbage, we stop" (we had to wait in line a lot longer than usual today at the transfer station. "Then go back home.
I asked, "We take the garbage with us? Where does it go?"
Amelia answered, "It goes to kids."
I had to go in a re-ask the last question to Tabitha. At first she answered the same as her sister. (Which is why I don't ask them together in the first place.) Then she said, "To the garbage station."
