It's time once again to share the cute comments made by the girls.
I have been braiding Amelia's hair like Tabitha's a lot more lately to keep it from tangling up so much, especially at night. The other day she was flipping her braids and she said, "My braids woke up."
Tabitha was bending her head backwards, stretching her neck the other night and she said, "My neck is stretching. That means my voice is getting lost."
Today as we "undecorated" (okay, that one is my word) the girls wanted to help put some things away. Amelia was jumping up and down, then she said, "Yay! It's not Christmas anymore!"
Amelia has just started going potty within the last week, actually Dec 30th. She is doing a great job, but we still put her in diapers at nap time and bed time. The other day, as we were getting her dressed, she took off her diaper and said, "I maded a big wet."
Today, in our muffin tin, the girls had some Yogos for dots. Then I gave them some to share out after dinner (they make a great sorting exercise and then they had to share them out by color). Tabitha was eating them and suddenly said, "These are like balls because they are spheres."
I told her I was surprised and proud of her for remembering the word sphere. I wanted to make sure what she said so I could write it down and I asked her if she said she loved them because they balls that were like spheres. She told me, "I love them because they are good."

ReplyDeleteI like your daughter's "I made a big wet" comment. Good luck with the potty training...we'll be there soon!
I think potty training was the biggest battle I had when my kids were little. I think I started them too early. Loved the "big wet" comment. It brings a smile to know you are raising your kids for God.
