Well, I am getting this week's Tiny Talk Tuesday in just under the wire, aren't I? I almost didn't think I had recorded anything this week, then I found one scrap of paper upstairs. Once again, it's not that they don't say anything cute. It's just that by the time I can get the pen, I have forgotten what was said. I mean I have the gist of it, but it is never as cute as what they originally said. Fortunately this evening has been ripe with cuteness. So, without further ado.
We had just finished supper this evening and the older children and I were still sitting in the dining room while Tabitha and Amelia were in the kitchen. As I walked in the kitchen to load the dishwasher I looked around to see what the girls might have been into. It was quite easy to tell, as there were oranges all over the floor. I asked, "What are you doing with the oranges?"
Amelia answered, "Rolling the balls."
A little bit later while we were relaxing in the living room Tabitha and Amelia were playing with blankets on the floor. First they were pretending to sit on them to watch fireworks. Then they were rolling up in them. Finally Tabitha placed her's around her shoulder and stated, "I'm Super Why."
Steven responded, "Super Why is a guy."
Tabitha said, "I am a guy." She got ready to run in the kitchen and quoted, "W-H-Y spell why, Super Why." A little bit later she came back in, flapped the blanket like wings, and stated, "I'm an angel."
As I was getting Amelia in bed she was trying to sit her big Dora up against the crib rails. (She usually uses it as a pillow.) We had to cover her up and give her a book. Then Amelia said, "He can't read. He don't have good hands. He can't talk (she said and signed talk)."
And while I was looking for a piece of paper to write the last comment on I found a comment from earlier in the week. I believe Amelia had just picked out a dress to wear. She exclaimed, "I know, I know! This one I want. It's my favorite one."
If you want to read the cute things other children are saying, head on over to Not Before 7 where Mary hosts Tiny Talk Tuesday.
Cute stories! I love the I'm an angel comment so sweet!
