Scavenger Hunt Sunday: December 19, 2010

Sometimes it is quite simple to find things to take pictures of for Scavenger Hunt Sunday, hosted by Ashley over at Ramblings and Photos.  Other times it is quite a challenge.  This week was one of those weeks for me.  Here is the list:
Winter, Black and White with Selective Coloring, The wind, Framed, Remember when...

And here are my interpretations:

Winter

The snow has been melting a bit and the icicles are a bit smaller, but they are still hanging tight on our roof.

Black and White with Selective color

I had just found the editing tools at one site last week and was playing around with it, when I discovered that this was one of the items for this week's scavenger hunt. I just thought this was so cute.

The Wind

We sing a song at Bible Time that goes like this:

Climb climb up sunshine mountain heavenly breezes blow

Climb climb up sunshine mountain faces all aglow. 

Turn, turn from sin and doubting 

look up to the sky.

Climb, climb up sunshine mountain, you and I.

They love doing the motions with daddy for this one as he gets really enthusiastic with it. The picture is the part with the "heavenly breezes."

Framed

I took similar pictures a couple of years ago using a star shaped cookie cutter.  This time I wanted to emphasize that these are people I love. So I used the heart.

 Remember When...

...I posted the picture Tree just last week?  Today as we drove around looking at Christmas lights we passed by the library and were treated with the sight of the trees all lit up, including the angel tree.
