Tabitha tends to make comments out of the blue in relation to conversations we had earlier, sometimes on another day. For example, one day we had talked about her baby teeth falling out so she could get her adult teeth. Out of the blue one day she said, "I want to get my baby teeth out so I can get my women teeth in."
While we were walking around town a few weeks ago (yes I am just finding some of the things I wrote down) Tabitha said, once again out of the blue, "I have a tongue to lick a lollipop."
One day I was getting the girls ready for bed and Tabitha looked over at Amelia.
Tabitha: There's cracks inside Amelia.
Mom: Those are her ribs.
Tabitha: I don't have ribs.
Tabitha: I think my playgroup kids are going to come and celebrate my birthday cake.
Mom: Honey, that will be in January.
Tabitha: It will be January in a minute.
And a couple of weeks ago when she was sick she had one day of not being able to talk. She said, "My neck doesn't work to talk."
The funny thing is, she started talking about that today and she described it as her voice "squeaking." Wish I had written down today's conversation. Oh, well.
Head on over to Not Before 7 to see what other's children are saying.
And don't forget to check out this week's Words of Wisdom Wednesday question. I'm looking forward to seeing your children's answers. The linky will be open 'til tomorrow night.

My daughter wishes it would be February in a minute...
ReplyDeleteThese are precious. I like how she wants her "women teeth" to come in. How great to see how their little minds work through their words.
