Wordless Wednesday: October 4, 2017 (w/linky) : Fun in the Fall Leaves

The children and I went to the park Sunday evening to find leaves to send to their pen pals. While we were there they started making a huge leaf pile. We were interrupted by a surprise visit from my son, his girlfriend and our granddaughter. Finally got back over there this afternoon to finish our pile and do the whole "jumping into the leaves and throwing them" thing. I have to say, I was surprised that our pile was still there.

Combining the piles:

Looking forward to seeing your Wordless (or not so wordless) Wednesday posts this week.
No button currently, and there won't be one until I can figure it out seeing as Photobucket has changed things. Feel free to still share the picture in place of the button on your Wordless Wednesday post or in a list of Wordless Wednesday linkies. Just link it to my Wordless Wednesday permalink please.

  1. The pictures in the leaf pile are precious! That brings back so many memories when my dad would rake the leaves.
Where I live, no one does that anymore :(

    Thanks for sharing!

  8. That is so cool that your kids are sending leaves to their pen pals! I was surprised to see all those leaves already. The trees here in MA are just starting to turn with hardly any on the ground. We've had a warm Sept. and Oct. (so far). Thanks for stopping by!

  9. Awww how sweet & thank you so much for stopping by & for sharing these wonderful pictures. I'm so glad to finally see something about fall & all the leaves. We really don't have that yet although they're just starting to turn colors. Most of the trees are still green around here, but I attribute that to the river maybe. I live five or six blocks of the Fox River in Batavia, Illinois. It's gorgeous over there I'll tell ya. One of the reasons I moved out here was for the scenery & get away from the hustle & bustle of the city. You have a gorgeous family. I wish my kids were little again. Now I have 11 grandchildren, but they all live very far away except for one who lives out here by me. Woo Hoo Hope to see you next week too & I'll make sure I stop by here too! Have a great weekend. hugssssssssssssss
