We had the great opportunity to receive the new children's book All Things Bright and Beautiful thanks to FlyBy Promotions.
About the book:
You may know this as a hymn first published by Cecil Frances Alexander in 1848. It has become a mainstay of churches and Sunday school classes
everywhere. I have read other versions of this hymn turned into a children's book, but this is by far my favorite. I love the sweet, colorful illustrations that artist Katy Hudson has created. Her fresh and bright watercolor style bring something new to this beloved hymn. Each double page spread is a complete scene, fully painted in with beautiful details which illustrate one phrase of the hymn which is printed in a large flowing font.
In this book, the reader joins three young children on a day filled with the discovery of “all things bright and beautiful.” They are wandering through the fields and by the river, admiring all of God's creation they come across.
Here are a couple of my favorite pages.

Aren't the illustrations lovely?
This 32-page, jacketed hardcover book is beautiful and I highly recommend it. The book is recommended for children 4-7 years old.

About the artist:
Katy Hudson was raised in Middlesbrough, England, and
started her career as a small child drawing on freshly painted walls. Her
parents quickly encouraged drawing with pencil and paper instead. The idea
stuck, and after earning a degree in illustration, Katy is now a freelance
illustrator. Katy works at a desk in a studio within Old London Library and
likes to tap dance in her spare time.
