Sunday Photo Round Up- March 20, 2016 (a couple of days late)

It's time to share my photos from this week.

Let's start with Scavenger Hunt Sunday, shall we.

Stairs, How You Feel Today, Flower, Green, Hair

Stairs

We went to Albany last week and I snapped a couple of pictures of STAIRS. Wasn't sure which I liked best.

How You Feel Today

I feel surprised and happy. Surprised because I didn't know the hubby was planning on getting the children new outfits for Resurrection Sunday. Happy because they are so happy.

Flower

Finally found a FLOWER or two this past Sunday when we went to the nursing home with Venture Club to help lead the church service.

Green

Found some GREEN moss on my walk at co-op last week.

Hair

I love the way her HAIR was being blown in the wind.

Photo A Day Round Up

I am participating in a few different photo-a-day challenges again this year. The photos are being shared daily on Instagram, but I thought it would be nice to include a collage of them here on my blog as well. Here are my collages showing the pictures from March 13-19

The first ones are the Photo A Day Challenge from Fat Mum Slim.

The second set are from The Bethadilly Challenge.

The third challenge is the Schoolhouse Review Crew's Instagram challenge.

Sunday Photo Round Up- March 13, 2016

It's time to share my photos from this week.

Let's start with Scavenger Hunt Sunday, shall we.

Something You Wore, Window, Red, Loud, Fork

Something You Wore

It was a lovely day this past Wednesday. This is the Something I Wore to take a walk at co-op. No coat needed.

Window

Took this picture for a picture of flowers, because though it is warming up, there are still no flowers popping up around our house. Thought the floral curtains on our WINDOW would do nicely.

Red

Couldn't decide. My daughter wanted to get a picture set up for me using the RED game pieces from Sorry. I thought it was such a cute idea. Just for the record, we aren't missing a game piece, the new version of the game only comes with 3 pawns per color.

I had already taken a picture of the RED house though, so I wanted to share that as well.

Loud

The children tend to get really LOUD when they are waving bye-bye to their daddy as he leaves for work. They aren't actually saying "bye," they are repeating daddy's honking "honk, honk, honkhonkhonk, honk honk."

Fork

My FORK is helping me eat up this yummy Trim Healthy Mama Deep S meal of scrambled eggs, mushrooms, spinach and a side of pan fried radishes (very yummy).

Sunday Photo Round Up- March 6, 2016

I did NOT realize the last time I posted a Scavenger Hunt Sunday post was back in October. I have been slacking majorly with my photo challenges. At the beginning of March I decided I needed to get focused again. I have gotten pictures for all three of my challenges so far this month, plus my Scavenger Hunt Sunday prompts. Hoping to stay faithful this month.

Let's start with Scavenger Hunt Sunday, shall we.

Up, Fruit, Neighborhood, Smile, Photographer's Choice

Up

Look at the bird way UP there on the streetlight. Couldn't believe it hung around long enough for me to get a picture.

Fruit

Yummy FRUIT with Wasa crackers and Laughing Cow Cheese for a yummy E (Energizing) snack on the Trim Healthy Mama plan. Love red grapes!

Neighborhood

Love being able to go to the NEIGHBORHOOD park right behind our house. Harold is just learning to pump his legs to swing himself. I can't believe how nice the weather has been this winter. Note the lack of snow, quite odd for this area at the beginning of March.

Smile

I'm SMILING because I know this spoonful of coconut oil not only tastes GOOD, but is good for me.

(This was also for my "Good" prompt for fmsphotoaday)

Photographer's Choice

I had to stop and snap a picture of the horizon on my way home the other night.I loved the trees against that little bit of white and the darker sky.

Sunday Photo Round Up- October 26, 2015

It is time to share my photos from the photo challenges I am participating in! Let's start with Scavenger Hunt Sunday, shall we.

Leaves, A Hat, Stop, My Town, Up

Leaves

It appears what LEAVES are left were covered with some frost and a small amount of snow last Sunday on the way to the Bills game.

A Hat

We had a blast with our impromptu "photo shoot" over at the park last week. I needed this picture of A HAT and I remembered we had this hat from VBS. It has last the rim around the outside, making it appear like it is falling apart, but I quite like it as it is. It sort of reminds me of a scarecrows hat or something. So, We the children had a bunch of fun posing and just having fun with this hat. I plan on sharing more in my Wordless Wednesday post, but I chose picture featuring each child to share here.

Stop

At first the only thing I could think of to do for STOP was to take a picture of a stop sign. Then we went over to the park and I had this cute idea. Have one child stand there and have another child run at her and have her raise up her hand to signal her to STOP.

My Town

MY TOWN is a small rural town where the walk around town measures about 1 mile. Unfortunately, there aren't sidewalks all the way around, which is really annoying at times. However, the children love balancing on the curb and walking in the grass. On this walk we were measuring how far we could go in 8 minutes, because that is how long it takes the light from the sun to reach the earth.

Up

Looking UP at the top of this bare tree against the cloudy sky made for a neat picture. I didn't mean for it to be a "spooky" picture, but I have been informed by a couple of people that it is.

Photo A Day Round Up

I am still participating in the three photo-a-day challenges. I did fall a bit behind when it comes to posting the pictures though. I didn't have a chance to get all caught up or make my collages, so I am going to post a separate Round Up post later.

Sunday Photo Round Up- October 11, 2015

It is time to share my photos from the photo challenges I am participating in! Let's start with Scavenger Hunt Sunday, shall we.

An Autumn Drink, Wooden, Seasonal, My Outfit Today, My View

An Autumn Drink

This is a popular AUTUMN DRINK for us as we usually take cans of iced tea to the football game in the fall.

Wooden

A WOODEN fence along the side of a country road, separating it from the field.

Seasonal

Just some SEASONAL work in the yard being done by some big helpers. Of course, it was more so they could jump in a pile of leaves, but that is okay.

 My Outfit Today

This used to be my church outfit, but now that I have a new one, I can wear this to homeschool co-op.

 My View

This was MY VIEW as I left the natural food store where we purchase raw honey.
