Please visit my co-host at Chestnut Grove Academy.

I am so sorry for the lack of Workbox Wednesday posts for the month of July. I had plans to keep busy, and though we have, I haven't really been doing any organized teaching, no workbox time or anything like that. However, even though we aren't starting back up with school until August 25th, I did want to share some of the learning trays the younger children have used this past month. Learning Trays are going to become a part of our day for Hannah and Harold, like I used to do for the older girls when we were Home Preschooling.

The trays may be trays, or cookie sheets, or even baskets, just something to keep the activity contained and ready to use, as I learned while working at the Montessori. I may have them focus on a theme, or I may not. I really am not sure yet. I just know I need to get the younger kiddos working on some of the hands-on learning that I used successfully with Tabitha and Amelia.

Last month, the children were able to use a product from Fundanoodle called I Can Bead, Lace, Rip, Trace!  This is one of the products that is going to be included in my Back to School/5 Year Blogiversary Grand Prize Giveaway (which will run August 17-31). The review will be coming later this week, but I wanted to give you a sneak peek.

I decided these different items would work great on Learning Trays.

Harold started by lacing some beads.

Hannah got to rip and stick.
