Wordless Wednesday: April 27, 2016 (w/linky) - Enjoying Nature With the Zoom on My Camera

I have been enjoying using my new camera over at the park. I am not that thrilled with the camera as a whole, but I discovered that the zoom is pretty amazing. Here take a look:

This goose was way over at the edge of the trees at the back of our town's park. I was taking pictures from around where the tire swing is.

Then I heard this bird high up in the tree.

Oh, look, he has a friend.

Look some buds on a different tree.

They are way up in the tree.

Note the moon between the branches for reference.

Told you it was way up there. The moon in between the branches where I was zooming in to get the pictures of the buds.

Later I noticed some robins near where the geese were.

Point of reference. The picture below is with no zoom.

Zoomed in a bit.  Now you can see where the geese are, but can you see the robin?

There he is!

More pictures.

Looking forward to seeing your Wordless (or not so wordless) Wednesday posts this week.

  2. Loved the zoom on the pictures. I can't zoom out with mine and get good pictures like that. I can't wait to get a new camera.

  3. We had a couple geese who'd come to our back yard a few years in a row. It's fun to see them and their babies, but don't get too close! Lol. :)

  4. They may be pretty, but I'm not big on standing under birds.

  5. Beautiful birds! There's a robin family building a nest in my neighbor's tree, so they've been hanging out on our patio a lot.

  6. Canada geese are one of my favourite birds EVER! You've captured some great shots there :)

  7. You have a good eye for sure. Birds move so fast at times that they are hard to capture.

  8. I like the shot with the moon! Teresa from NanaHood
