Littles Learning Link Up: May 22, 2018 - Our No-School Week

 Each month you will find:
  • A seasonal round-up (usually toward the beginning of the month)
  • Posts where I share what I have been up to with my early elementary children (including occasional highlight posts where I share how we used ideas that have been linked up here on Littles Learning Link Up).
Each week, I will host a link up, where you can share either what you have been up to recently, or old posts that may go with the theme.  Feel free to link up more than one post.

Each week I will continue to feature a couple of posts from those that have been linked up.

I hope you will continue to share your wonderful posts, and I hope you will find something new to try with your child(ren).

It would be great for everyone to stop by and visit the other linked-up posts as well. Check them out, leave some comments, pin those that interest you. Let's make this a real party and socialize with each other.

What have we been up to?

Last week was a no-school week, our last one until the end of the school year actually. We school 5 or 6 weeks on, 1 week off. Though this time we had only had 4 weeks of school and then took a break, mainly because the hubby had a week off from work and we wanted to be able to spend time with him. Of course, there was still learning happening. We listened to Under Drake's Flag from Heirloom Audio Productions (which we reviewed several years ago) while we were in the van headed up to go shopping. So, there was some history. We went to the park and the boat launch where they could play in the river, and the children were pulling up rocks, looking for bugs. Science. The children played all sorts of different board games and card games together. Math. Plus we were still doing a bit of school work with Home School Navigator. Language Arts. Even our no-school weeks are sort of relaxed school, or maybe unschooling weeks.

Let's take a quick look. By the way, how do you like these collages I've been making to share a review of our week?

Let's take a look at that review schedule real quick:
Last week I posted my review for Kids Email. This week I will be sharing my reviews of Home School Navigator, and the book T is for Tree: A Bible ABC from Reformed Free Publishing Association

In June I will be sharing reviews of New American Cursive 2 from Memoria PressCritical Thinking Detective Book 1 from The Critical Thinking Co, MaxScholar, Grammar and Writing 3 from Hake Publishing, and The Master & His Apprentices.

Here are some things I would like to share with you:

It's just starting to feel like spring, so of course, I thought I would share some summer round ups. Starting with some patriotic ideas for Memorial Day.

And, let's not forget that Father's Day will be here before we know it.
