We go to the YMCA at least 2 - 3 days per week and my son loves to walk on my tread mill each day. I let him go at his own pace and he does the least of 20 minutes if not more.

ReplyDeleteWe play most of the day. We play tag, choo-choo train. We dance. Lots of things. If I don't keep him busy and active,, he doesn't get tired for a nap. LOL

ReplyDeleteWe have outside play time written into our daily school schedule. Usually my daughter choses to ride her bike around the block (it's actually up/down several streets to make a 1 mile course).
ReplyDeleteRight now my boys have gym in co-op, game time at AWANA and they also take a homeschool gymnastics class. At home we are outdoors as much as possible: climbing trees, riding bikes, nature walks, trampoline, etc.

ReplyDeleteWe have dance breaks throughout the day and they are in karate classes.
ReplyDeleteMostly they run around inside and out. But we have been doing some more organized sessions of skills as well.

ReplyDeleteJust a suggestion about making the strap adjustable. You could put a rubber band around it where you want the opening to be then if you need it bigger or smaller, just move the rubber band. :-)
