Classroom Friendly Supplies Pencil Sharpener Giveaway

Do you ever deal with the frustration of not having sharpened pencils when you or your children have work to be done? Have you fought with sharpeners in order to get a decent point as opposed to a mutilated mess? I used to, but not anymore. In fact, it has been a year since I have dealt with this particular problem thanks to Classroom Friendly Supplies. I reviewed their wonderful sharpener last year for my Back to School/5 Year Blogiversary Celebration. In my review I shared how simple it is to use their sharpener, and the great results I received. Not only does this sharpener work with regular pencils, it works with colored pencils as well.

Yes, I was skeptical when I heard how good this sharpener was, but the results spoke for themselves. Now, a year later, I wanted to share that we are still using it and have had no problems with it. We still end up with the same perfect points. In this day and age, when products are not made to last, I am quite impressed with this sharpener.

It is the time of year when children are getting ready to head back to school. Whether you homeschool like we do, or send your children to public school, pencils will most probably be used in your home and by your children. Perhaps you are a teacher looking for a decent sharpener for your classroom.  The owner of Classroom Friendly Supplies is an elementary school teacher, and he started selling these sharpeners because he was tired of the loud and inefficient sharpeners being used.

In case you have your doubts about this sharpener, I would like to share another picture that shows the results achieved:

I am 100% impressed with the quality of this product. Here is what I like:
  • Well made, sturdy design
  • Ease of use
  • Quieter than electric pencil sharpeners
  • No motor to wear out
  • Blades are replaceable (a set of two can be purchased for $22.99)
  • Shaving are disposed of easily
  • Pencils are sharpened to a perfect point
  • Sharpener stops sharpening after perfect point is achieved.
  • A clamp is included (though as I haven't used it, I can't speak to it's effectiveness)
  • After a year of use, we are still getting the same perfect results!
I have one warning I would like to share with you. The front of the sharpener pulls out and clicks into place to hold the pencil. Well, if no pencil is inserted and you turn the crank, the front plate will snap into place. Not a problem, unless your finger is in the way. Ooops and ouch. It will sting a little, but no permanent damage was done.

You can purchase the pencil sharpener in 5 different colors:

Each of these sharpeners can be purchased for $24.99. A set of 3 can be purchased for $53.97. In case you will be purchasing large quantities, they also offer a school discount- 36 sharpeners for $503.64. They also now offer a large hole sharpener for those larger pencils. It sells for the same price.

You can check out all the products they offer at their website.
You can also find them on Facebook.

Disclosure: I reviewed the sharpener from Classroom Friendly Supplies last year as a part of my Back to School/5 Year Blogiversary Celebration. I approached the company about doing another giveaway this year as I am 100% pleased with their product and want to share it with my readers. I received no further compensation.
