Toddler Ideas Tuesday: October 14th, 2014

Welcome back to Toddler Idea Tuesdays! I hope you will join with me again in sharing the fun activities, crafts, and lessons that you are doing with your young children.

Today I wanted to share the craft I did with the preschool group at our homeschool co-op last week. I wanted to do something fall related. So, we made Fall Hand Trees. We personalized the fall trees by using a tracing of each child's hand and forearm for the tree trunk and branches. Then they got to work on fine motor skills by ripping strips of paper to make leaves.

Here is Hannah's:

2- Deirdre from JDaniel4's Mom also shared a Fire Truck Craft with Flame Painting. Don't forget to stop by to find out how to make this for Fire Safety Month.

3- Christianity Cove shared a wonderful round up of Fall Bible Activities. See how you can relate fall games and crafts to the Bible.

4- Christianity Cove also shared a post about Halloween Slime and Isaiah 64:8. See how you can turn the darkness of Halloween into an opportunity for ministry.

I also wanted to remind you about the giveaway that for a GeoSafari Jr. My First Microscope, appropriate for ages 3 and up. Encourage your child's natural curiosity and allow them to explore the world around them.

I invite you to link up below. I will be pinning posts on my Toddler Ideas board and I would love to feature some of the activities each week from what is linked up. 1. I did this activity with my four and five year old kiddos in Sunday school class. My {almost} two year old would enjoy it just as much.
