Kids and a Mom in the Kitchen #91:Peanut Butter and Jelly Quesadillas

Time for Kids and a Mom in the Kitchen
(A weekly linky to share what you and your children have created in the kitchen.)

The linky is at the bottom.

We decided to do something different for breakfast one morning. I didn't realize at the time that there are plenty of people who have made Peanut Butter and Jelly Quesadillas. I thought we were coming up with something unique. It doesn't matter. Amelia still believes she helped me come up with this simple, yummy recipe.

Ingredients:

Whole Wheat Tortillas
Peanut butter
Grape Jelly or Strawberry Jam

Amelia was helping with breakfast.

We spread the peanut butter over one side of a tortilla.

Then Harold wanted to help too.

Then we spread strawberry jelly on top of the peanut butter.

I folded it over and heated in on medium heat until just starting to turn brown. Then I flipped it.

Harold helped to make a second one.

They were quite tasty, though a bit messy.

Do you have your children help you in the kitchen?  What lessons do they learn? Do you have any kid friendly recipes to share?

I'd love to see your posts, whether you have done something this week or some time in the past. Just link up below. This is a weekly linky.
