Toddler Ideas Tuesday: March 4th, 2014

Welcome back to Toddler Idea Tuesdays! Have you been busy with your young children?

Last week in our homeschool co-op preschool class we made some fun snowy snowmen. I have always wanted to try painting with bubble wrap and I figured it would be a great way to make snow falling from the sky. Then we built a snowman out of paper and added details.

You will need a small piece of bubble wrap, white paint, blue, orange and black construction paper, a black marker, felt, buttons.

We left the papers on the table so the paint could dry while we went and sang some songs. I taught them a new song about a Chubby Little Snowman. We used to sing this years ago with my older children. I have sang it in the Montessori where I worked with those children and I have taught it to my little ones. I have not been able to find an author, if anyone knows of an author please let me know so I can give proper credit.

Then we finished our snowman pictures.

Now onto:

    1. Thank you. I have seen people using bubble wrap for painting so I bought some, but wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. Then I thought of making the snowmen (last minute craft for co-op) and thought using the bubble wrap would be something different. We have done finger print snow before too
