Sunday Photo Round-Up: November 3, 2013

It's time for me to share my photo challenge photos from this week.
I will start with Scavenger Hunt Sunday as always, this week the prompts were not from Photo-A-Day, so that will come separately.

Dress Up, Candy, Pumpkin, Spooky, Orange

Dress Up

Tabitha made her own costume to go to our church's Venture Club Harvest Party. We realized last minute she would need a costume and she went about making an angel costume while mom was busy. She is just a little impatient. She wanted to wear here costume again during school time on Monday, so I let her.

Candy

My favorite fall candy.

Pumpkin

Our first time carving pumpkins in a long time. We decided to carve 5 pumpkins to spell JESUS so we could put them outside and proclaim that Jesus is the light of the world.

Spooky

I have heard rumors that this house in a nearby town is haunted. While I don't believe in such things I decided it does sort of look sort of spooky and I wouldn't want to be passing by it at night.

Orange

I thought these would work for orange. I prefer candy corn, but these are good too.

When I was downloading my pictures, I noticed someone had gotten a hold of my camera and had taken some pictures. I am assuming they are of his hand over the lens or something.

Photo-a-Day (October)

Day 27: Peaceful
They always look so peaceful when they are asleep.

Day 28: Just for You
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

Day 29: Hair
(didn't get anything for this prompt)

Day 30: Wet
I wasn't sure what I was going to take a picture of for this prompt, then I looked outside and saw how wet the rain was making everything. Loved the way the lights were reflecting on the wet parking lot.

Day 31: Treat
We usually have Breakfast for Dinner of Thursdays; on this occasion I made my hubby a special treat, pumpkin pancakes. My, were they good!

Photo-a-Day (November)

Day 1: Fruit
On Friday while we were watching our movie and eating popcorn as we do almost every Friday, Harold had grabbed 2 apples and was happily eating away.

Day 2: I did this today
As I do any day when we go somewhere in the van, I had to get the children rounded up to get in the van to go to story time.

Nurture Photography Challenge - Autumn 2013 Edition

It is that time of year again. Time to join in with Kristi at Live and Love Out Loud and Rebecca at Bumbles and Light for their Fall Nurture Photography Challenge.

This week's prompt is Purple/Spooky
