Sunday Photo Round-Up: June 23, 2013

It's time for me to share my photo challenge photos from this week.
First, let's get going with this week's Scavenger Hunt Sunday:

Fun, Arts and Crafts, Messy, Blessing, Effort

Fun
Daddy was having lots of fun on his "new" bike and the children joined in.

 Arts and Crafts
The children have been making some fun art projects when we go to Story Hour at the library. Last week they made the stop lights and this week they made snakes.

Messy

Out of the three girls Hannah was the only one who really got into the Pudding Eating Contest at Old Home Day last week.

Blessing
It is such a blessing to be a mother. Love the bouquets of flowers I get and the hugs and the kisses, etc.

Effort
It takes a lot more effort to push the new lawn mower, but at least it is safer for the children to be around.

It also takes a lot of effort to open a "jack-in-the-box" by yanking up on the top. This one is at church and actually has a rabbit in it.

Now onto
June Photo a Day

Day 16: Family
I didn't have a recent family shot, so I used this one from when we went to the Draft Day Party at the Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Day 17: Centered
My mother taught me to place my silverware in the center of my plate when I was done with my meal. Have I done a good job teaching my children? Nope. But I thought of it after I took this picture.

Day 18: Street
Just the view of our street from our bedroom window.

Day 19: Currently Reading
Awaiting me on my pillow the other night were the 4 books I am currently reading or getting ready to read. Now, should I pick the new review book (Global Art), the review book I am almost done reading (Couponing Made Simple), the book about the Duggars that I am in the middle of, or the Christian fiction that I set everything else aside to read and am almost done with? Which would you choose?

Day 20: Cute
Amelia just went birthday shopping with her money from grandma and got a cute walking puppy similar to the puppy Tabitha got with her birthday money from the same grandma. This is them meeting.

Day 21: Lunchtime
The girls enjoying a muffin tin meal for lunch at the school table.

Day 22: Enjoying Life
The girls were enjoying their time out in the sprinkler while it watered our garden. Even mommy got soaked, which doesn't happen often. We were throwing the ball back and forth through the water.

Day 23: Last

The last ingredient to be added to the rice pudding before it went into the oven.

And I'm continuing on with
(even though I am a little behind and playing catch up)
ABC Friday

ABC Friday gives you a chance to share a random photo with a challenge!
Each week is a new letter theme, starting with A of course, we will work our way through the alphabet.
All you have to do is post a picture with the letter theme for that week…. A is for Auto, B is for Beach, C is for Cake….I think you get it.
This is not Wordless Wednesday, feel free to share in words what the photo is all about! or not, it’s up to you!
X is for X Marks the Spot

I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for X. I went around looking for X's to take a picture of and found these:

Then I realized that this X was used 3 years ago for our X Marks the Spot game when we were doing the letter X.

We used this "map" I drew of our house and I hit X's around the living room and they had to find them. I think I marked them on the map so they would know where to look.
