Completing Him Challenge: Prioritizing

Week #5 Challenge: Make a list of 5 things you currently do and ask your husband to prioritize them for you of what is important to him. For example - a clean home, home cooked dinner, coupon clipping, service at church, having friends over for dinner, watching/doing sports with him, etc.

I decided to write a list of 10 things for hubby to look at.  I visited other blogs and cleaning the house was put as one choice.  I decided I wanted to know what was the most important for me to strive to keep clean while trying to take care of the children. If I am focusing on what I think he wants clean and not getting the things clean that are really bothering him it seems to me he would feel I am not doing much.  My list was written in the order of importance to me and I was curious as to what would be hubby's order of importance.  I was glad to see that he kept my order of "Working with the children" and "time with him" before any of the cleaning.  I also asked him to add some of his own if he felt I missed anything.
Of course intimacy made #1, no surprise there, I figured he would add it.
And I was embarrassed that he added "spend time with God" and I forgot it.
Those are what he has as the top two.
Here is the list the way he prioritized it:
1. Working with the children
2. Spending time with him
3. Keep the counter free of clutter
4. Cook meals
5. Keep the floors picked up and vacuumed
6. Doing the laundry
7. Keep the kitchen floor clean
8. Keep the dishes clean
9. Keep the playroom organized
10 Bake treats
Quite the difference in order from what I thought.  Now that I look at it though it makes perfect sense.
