Wordless Wednesday: September 18, 2013 (w/linky)- If You Find a Mouse in Your Garbage Can...

If you find a mouse in your garbage can,

You may call your children over to see it.  When your children come running to see the mouse,

They are going to want a closer look.

Once they get a closer look, they are going to ask if they can keep the cute mouse.
They will attempt to find it some food and things for its new house (in the garbage can).

Unfortunately, mommy will have to remind them that the mouse is a wild mouse and belongs outside.

Once you remind your children of this fact, they will spend the morning asking when they will get to take it over to the park.

They will want to leave it at all the fun playground equipment that they see.

Which will prompt you to tell them the town probably wouldn't like that very much.

So, you will walk all the way to the other side of the park.

Once you get to the other side of the park, it will be time to let the little critter go.

Which will make the children sad and make them want to take one more look.

After they take a look, you will have to tip the garbage can to let the mouse out. Of course, this will lead you to wonder once again how it got in the empty garbage can to begin with.

If you find the mouse has decided it likes it new home, that it miraculously got into, you will have to tip the can up all the way to get it to slide out.

The mouse will smell the fresh air...

...and decide it likes it better in its new home the children made for it.

Which will force you to dump it up all the way and dump it in the grass.

The mouse will be so confused it will run around, even between the children's feet.

Finally it will run into the tall grass by the river and your children will miss him.

To lessen their pain, you will read, "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie." and plan to bake cookies.

A couple of days later, after you have all the ingredients, you will bake Yummy Chip Cookies.

When they are all done, you children may wish they had a mouse to share the cookies with.

Fortunately we have neighbors who we were able to share with.

Looking forward to seeing your Wordless (or not so wordless) Wednesday posts this week.
