Baby Shower Celebration: Baby Hat from Taylor Joelle Designs Review and Giveaway

A couple of weeks ago I shared a little bit about Taylor Joelle Designs: Children's Clothing Boutique.






  You can find the post here. I knew that they carried clothing and accessories for babies and children ranging from newborn to toddler to size 6. I just discovered that they are going to be launching an older kids boutique, hopefully in the fall of this year. Check out the blog post that just came out today. 
That being said, I was thrilled when Taylor Joelle Designs got back to me to let me know they would participate in my Baby Shower Celebration. Out of all their awesome, unique clothing I was in love with their owls hats. So, you can probably understand how thrilled I was when they offered one of their in-stock hats  for my review and giveaway. I quickly chose the Green and Blue Boy Owl Hat:
When we received the hat I had to keep it in the bag, up out of the reach of 3 curious little girls until baby Harold was born, as much as I wanted to use it right away. 

Finally the day came when I could use the hat. We were getting ready to go home from the hospital and I got to try the hat on baby Harold. Isn't he adorable?

The quality and the craftsmanship of this hat are superb. I love everything from the cute little ears, to the pattern, to the braided ties. It was very important to daddy and I that the buttons that are a part of the owl's eyes are very well secured onto the hat. The only thing that has disappointed me is that I haven't been able to take him out and about in his little hat yet. But I know when I do, this hat is going to keep his little head nice and warm, while looking absolutely adorable.
