Muffin Tin Monday: Kk

Muffin Tin Monday at Muffintinmom.com

I thought it was going to be difficult putting together a K muffin tin.  When I went over to the store I was delighted with what I found.

Usually the girls do not help me with the muffin tins.  However, I did let them help make the strawberry Kiwi KoolAid.

Then they went to watch their show while I put the muffin tin together.

They had:
K shaped peanut butter sandwiches (lately they have been passing on the jelly)
Vegetable Kabobs with grape tomatoes, peppers and mushrooms
Fruit Kabobs with cantaloupe, grapes and strawberries
Kix cereal (dry)
Special K bar
KitKat

Neither of them cared for the mushrooms, but they did eat one each.

And I gave Hannah her first  muffin tin

She had:
corn puff twists
cantaloupe
strawberries
pieces of tuna sandwich
pieces of pb and j

So of course she grabbed the big piece of sandwich that was behind the tin.
She didn't eat the greatest and was constantly trying to dump the tray, but she had already snacked while I was making lunch (this is typical).  She had graham crackers and cheese.  Oh, yeah, I also gave her some grapes to end her meal with.  I like to peel them with my fingers and cut them up for her.

Head on over to Muffin Tin Mom to check out other great ideas for muffin tins.

  2. Kudos to them for trying the mushrooms! I'm not a big mushroom fan, either. Do you have a K cookie cutter? I love the sandwiches.

  3. It is nice that the girls want to help make their tins. My kids made me a tin this week for teacher appreciation after I told them I needed to be appreciated as their homeschool teacher like the public school teachers were being appreciated. LOL!
